Skin Blemish Treatment
What causes blemished
skin? A blemish is
a mar in the skin caused by pimples, blocked pores, a skin rash or scarring. Skin blemishes are a
nuisance of adolescence but for some people it occurs in adult life as well. It is an
undesired reminder of the embarrassment and self-consciousness of teenage acne. There are
several factors that contribute to the onset of skin blemishes in adults. Cosmetics and
toiletries may clog pores. Such products include foundations, night creams, and
moisturizers. Increased
sebum production is, to a great extent, caused by hormonal imbalance which is often why
spots are often triggered by the onset of puberty or during pregnancy. Temporarily
blemished skin can be the result of overloading your body with pollutants such as alcohol,
coffee, tea and the chemicals found in tobacco smoke and failing to supply it with
essential nutrients. Add to this stress - which can increase the production of some
hormones that affect the sebaceous glands - a lack of fresh air, exercise, sunshine and
sleep and it's not surprising it shows on your face. Blemishes
fall into two categories: blackheads or
whiteheads. Both types of breakouts occur in the hair follicles. They develop when pores
become clogged with sebum and other surface impurities, such as dead skin cells and bits
of protein. Blackheads are not caused by dirt on the skin, but rather by excess oil left
on the skin. If not removed within eight hours, this oil hardens into a plug. When the
hardened oil is exposed to air, it is oxidized, giving it a black color. If bacteria comes into contact with this plugged pore, it can cause
an inflammation, or a whitehead (the classic pimple).
Nature has
provided us with the best ingredients for skin and body care products. Many herbs ,
botanicals and active ingredient found in food have been used for thousands of years for
specific skin care problems. Our Skin Blemish Treatment, made from strawberries, contain minerals and vitamins C and B3, silicon and antioxidants that offer protection from sun damage, have cleansing properties and prevent inflammation. Strawberries are rich in salicylic acid, a key ingredient that rids the skin of dead cells and deep-cleans the pores. In addition to helping heal blemishes, strawberries also have a mild bleaching effect on the skin. Strawberries are also rich in Vitamin P, the bioflavonoids, rutin and hesperidin. These nutrients are able to affect on-site repair work to damaged miniscule blood vessels. Also in this formulation is Almond Oil, which is an all-natural oil derived from pressed almonds commonly used to relieve itchy skin and dryness. Its use dates back to Biblical times, it nourishes and revives the skin, is easily absorbed, wont clog pores and promotes clear, healthy skin. Almond oil is high in mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids, and contains naturally occurring Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E. A natural emollient oil ( skin softening oil). Another important ingredient is Dairy cream. which is high in protein, calcium and vitamins and makes soothing cleaners. Also contains lactose that gently keeps away dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. What to avoid if you have blemished skin

is essential and you should note the increased risk of premature skin ageing and skin
cancer. Application Apply twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Apply the cream on the area to clean up (spots and blemishes), then massage gently into the skin, making sure that the cream is fully absorbed. Can be applied to whole face for achieving fair skin. The best skincare
routine for blemished skin Blemished
skin needs to be kept clean and moisturized like any other skin type. The key is to choose
the right products. 1. Purifying
Cleanser that won't disrupt the skin's acidity.
Rinse with warm water. 2. Follow up
with the conditioning and a hydrating toner. This toner works to restore the skin's natural acid
layer that kills bacteria and protects the skin with its astringent
action. 3. Skin
needs restorative
moisturizing. Oily, blemished skin still needs hydration. 4. Stimulating
facial scrub. This scrub does just that with the added bonus of stimulating your skin
to give it a refreshing glow. 5. Clarifying Masque for skin enhancement.
Balance skin from within Eat a
balanced diet , this a vital part of creating a healthy complexion. Bear in mind that it
takes a good three weeks for newly formed cells to reach the skin's surface, so it takes
time for lasting results to show. Vitamins A, C and E, selenium and zinc are essential
antioxidants that help to enhance collagen repair and generally promote skin healing.
Essential fatty acids (EFAs) can also have a positive effect on skin . Keeping the
skin clean and loosening clogged pores are the best preventative. A weekly gentle facial
scrub and deep cleansing mask can accomplish this. Your
appearance and the feel of your skin directly reflects in your health.
