Yoga is a wonderful way to relax and to get in touch with your body and mind.  In 1971, Sharana Rao studied the philosophy and science of Yoga in India where Yoga was originally practiced and has since taught in 14 different countries around the world to all ages and people including pregnant women, the visually and physically handicapped.

He is a qualified Osteopath practicing Osteopathic Medicine & Cranio-Sacral Therapy and is also an Acupuncturist.

Sharana's classes reflect his holistic background, incorporating an interest in diet as well as exercises in breathing, stretching, toning, general strengthening, relaxation and visualization techniques which are simple and for everyone to benefit from.   Sharana will also introduce simple remedial postures and exercises to correct and improve specific problems all over the body for example in the neck, upper and lower back, shoulders, knees, etc.
